Boroco (Celosia argentea Linn.)

Description:
Grow up, high 30 to 100 cm. Grow wild in the streets, side ditches, abandoned terrain. Round stems with coarse elongated groove, much branched, green or red color. Leaves have a green color and the color is red, elongated oval shape, pointed tip, finely serrated edge is almost flat. Flowers form spikelets 3 10 cm long, pink / purple, black seeds somewhat brighter, the flowers growing on the ends of the branches.

Sebagai obat luar: Bunga direbus, airnya untuk cuci mata (setelah disaring dengan kertas saring/kapas). 5. Keputihan: 60 gram bunga ditambah 60 gram daging, direbus, minum air dan dagingnya. PERHATIAN : CONTRA INDIKASI pada tekanan bola mata yang meninggi (Glaucoma).

1. Keratitis:
Boroco seeds 15 grams, enough chicken liver boiled, eaten.
2. Hypertension:
Boroco seeds 30 grams, 1 cup of boiled water to 1 / 2 cup water, divided
